City of West Macedonia, home of the municipality of Kastoria, built on the peninsula of Orestias Lake.
Its history dates back to a millennium and a half since its establishment and maintains,
up to today, a significant number of Byzantine Churches, Mansions and other historical monuments witnessing
the City’s flourishment throughout the time. Furs trading, made Kastoria internationally known
at recent centuries.
